Tropical Print Romper

For those of you that don't know... I will be interning for Show Me Your Mumu this summer in Los Angeles! Excited is an understatement. It as given me an excuse to buy a ton of Mumu from their recent collections. They have been killing it with their new spring prints and silhouettes. I linked some that I have my eye on below. I love this romper because it would be easy to dress up or down and you can wear it off the shoulder or as a tube top. I am thinking about wearing it to a brunch event next week with some wedges.

I have about two and half weeks of school and I am low key freaking out. I can't wait for all this end of the year craziness to be over. I move out to LA May 27th so I am excited to have some time at home before I leave. Thanks for reading bbys! xx Brianna

Lemon Garlic Salmon

So I have been having this recipe on different types of meat a lot lately and I wanted to share it with you! This is only my second year living in an apartment and I really only learned to cook this year. By no means do I really know I am talking about. I am a 'throw it together' kind of chef haha. This recipe is super easy and quick to make. I usually don't measure when I cook so I apologize for the vague-ness of what I am about say l o l.

What you're gonna need:

Salmon (Thawed - I buy frozen Salmon from Aldi)
Olive Oil
Garlic Salt
Brussel Sprouts

One of the reasons I love cooking this is because it requires very few ingredients. I put my salmon in a pan with olive oil and juice from half a lemon. Then I sprinkle some minced garlic, garlic salt, and pepper over the salmon and top it with two slices of lemon. I preheat the oven to 425 and cook it for about 20 minutes. While that's cooking is when I cut up the brussel sprouts (don't forget to cut off the bottom!) and make them. I heat olive oil with more minced garlic in a pan on medium heat. When the oil is hot I put in the brussel sprouts and some garlic salt. I cover the pan for a few minutes and then let them sautee for another few. This way they get a little softer but still crispy. When the salmon is done, you have a meal! Sometimes I also make cous cous. You can also swap out olive oil for about 2 tablespoons of better to make a butter garlic sauce as it's cooking. I have tried to recipe on salmon, tilapia, and chicken!

Let me know if you try it!

Star Top + Cutoff Levi's

Backpack c/o Rebecca Minkoff | Top | Shorts (similar) | Hat | Boots (similar)

I have so much fomo this week not being at Coachella. Anyone in the same boat? I have been super inspired by all the festival fashion I have been seeing all over Instagram and Instagram stories. I thought this star top + denim is a great casual festival inspired look that you can also wear in "real life." I hate buying things and only being able to wear them once so I always make sure that I am able to pair them with other things in my closet. Adding the right accessories to a festival look can really make it stand this bag and hat and booties. I actually made these cutoffs ($6 mom jeans for the win), but I linked a super similar pair.

Shopbop Sale + My Picks

Hey girl, hey! So you have probably seen by now that Shopbop is having a sale. This is their best sale of the year in my opinion because most of the items included in the sale don't go on sale any other time. You are able to get 20% off your purchase and 25% off if you spend over $500. This sale is a great way to add NEW spring pieces to your wardrobe on a budget. My favorite thing about shopping at Shopbop is free 3-day shipping (because I am so impatient and when I order something I want it right away LOL). They also have lots of affordable brands as well as higher end stuff. I have rounded up some of my favorite Shopbop purchases from the past and also some stuff I think would be perfect in your closet for spring! Some of the stuff I linked is already on sale & it's an additional percentage off that! So get to shopping girlies because it's over in two days! xx Brianna

These overalls are one of my favorite things I have added to my closet this spring. I think I will be able to style them so many different ways and they are super comfortable! You can for sure dress these up or down. I can't wait to wear them with this little tee

These oversize Quay aviators are my favorite sunnies this spring. They are so fun and can really add to a boring outfit. I wear this little Gorjana necklace ALL THE TIME. I actually wear it a ton in "real life" outfits as well like for my 21st birthday with this romper.

These are two things in my closet I probably have gotten the most wear out of. You guys have heard me talk about these jeans too many times to count, but I will say it again. Favorite. Jeans. Ever. The fit is amazing and I love the knee rips. Also they are under $90 which makes them an even better deal with the sale. Everyone has this style Rebecca Minkoff bag, but I love how the black hardware makes this one a little bit different. This bag probably gets the most use out of all my bags because it pretty much goes with everything and is the perfect size.

I linked some more of favorites below! All of these would be fab closet additions for spring!
Let me know if you get anything!

White Off the Shoulder Top

This is like THE most basic spring outfit in the best way. I love simple outfits like this that I don't really have to think about, yet they are still chic. This little off the shoulder top is one of my new faves and it's only $11. This top would look so cute with a pair of printed shorts. I just got this pair. These studded sandals were a staple shoe for me last summer and I linked a super similar pair for you guys.

Side note, this semester is kicking my ass and I can't wait for this semester to end. I am literally drowning and counting down the days until I move to LA. Every college kid is probably in the same boat right now. Here's to *trying* to finish strong when all I can think about is LA!

Tied Up Top

Top | Shorts | Boots | Earrings (similar) | Purse

When I saw these shorts I knew I had to have them. High waisted cutoffs with star embroidery?? Hellll yesss. They are from H&M's coachella collection and I am obsessed. Anything with stars is my ish lately. I like how this traditional button up looked tied up with them and I thought it gave the look a more boho and festival vibe. You guys are probably getting annoyed with me talking about festival fashion so much when I am not even going to any (Lol I h8 me too) but I seriously love festival style and to me it can be even more inspiring than fashion week. I know, I know... did I even just say that? Oh well. But seeing all these super creative fashionable people come together to enjoy music I think really gets the creative juices flowing.

I hope you enjoyed this look! xx Brianna

Denim Overalls

Overalls | Top | Sunglasses (similar) | Boots (similar)

If we are being completely honest here, I was pretty anti overalls when they first started becoming popular again. It was a trend I never really saw myself trying. Then I found these Free People overalls at June and Beyond Boutique and I fell in love. I immediately envisioned them being perfect with an off the shoulder top, but they would also look so cute and casual with a graphic tee underneath. I think I will be able to style and wear these a lot this summer in LA. I sized up (size 26 instead of my usual 25 in FP) to give them an even more relaxed vibe and I am glad I did. You'll probably see these babies styled again on the blog in the near future because I am crushing hard.
