Summer Makeup Picks

As I was writing some posts for this week and scrolling through the blog I realized that I haven't done a beauty post since April (oops)! So today I am going to be sharing with you some of my summer beauty favorites, why I love them, and how I use them! Also, almost all of these are drugstore products so super budget friendly!

We'll start with the base... I combine these two products for a great summer glow! For days I don't need much coverage I will only wear the BB cream, but for blog pictures or work I wear the True Match foundation and add the Maybelline BB cream. I think the BB bronze adds a warm summer glow to your makeup without being shimmery or making you look oily. I always apply my foundation with a damp beauty blender and set it with a powder.

I just picked up the Maybelline concealer the other day and so far I love it! I put this under my eyes, on the bridge of my nose, and little in the middle of my chin and in between my eyebrows going up to my forehead. By doing this I think it really brightens your face and draws the most attention to your eyes and center of your face. The Becca skin perfector is a holy grail product for me for sure. This product is a pretty penny ($38), but coming from a college girl who pretty much only uses drug store now, this is totally worth it.  I have never used a highlighter I like better! I swipe this on my cheekbones and on the bridge of my nose. This also works great as a light color for eye shadow! The Jane Iredale facial spritz is a product I have been using forever. I use it to set my makeup and it's also so refreshing to use throughout the day.

I contour my face with the Fit Me foundation stick. To me this is easier than trying to find a perfectly matte bronzer, plus the staying power is so much better! I swipe this under my cheekbones, on my temples, and around my hairline and blend it all together with a damp beauty blender. I also use this to contour my nose a little. This Milani bronzer is great for summer because of the super fine shimmer it has in it. I use an Elf bronzing brush to apply this around my hairline and temples and occasionally under my cheekbones if I want some extra glow.

To be completely honest I didn't realize this polish was matte when I bought it, but it's sort of a happy accident because I ended up really liking it! It's super summery and fresh.

This very well might be my new favorite lip of the summer. I tend to stay in the light pink color family (basically every lip color I own LOL), but this is a little different than ones I have. I love the formula, it's matte but doesn't dry your lips out. I just really can't explain how much I loveeee this new lippie, so maybe go try out it yourself;) I know everyone wants to try a Kylie lip kit and this is my $8 alternative! I'm not sure if it's very close to any of her colors, but hey I'll take it!

Let me know if you try any of these products or if you have any questions about my beauty routine!
